We are so excited about the new arrivals in the Design Center at Dunn. York’s collaboration with Ronald Redding continues to bring us sophisticated and glamorous papers, this time in his collection called 24 Karat. There are great patterns here. Some are bold and high impact for that real wow factor (see the plaster and Mylar beauty called Empire Diamond that comes in 3 colorways and is sold by the yard). Others are more quiet, but should prove to be useful — real workhorses in your design schemes. It’s hard to capture the refinement of Silk Elegance on a screen, but it’s a knockout high performance vinyl that is great looking. It has a high-end feel, with beautiful tonal variations in each of its 13 different colorways, and MSRP is only $75/SR.
Other Design Center staff favorites include Dreamscapes, a loose and elegant horizontal stripe in 6 colorways, and Geodes, described by York as “stratified layers of monochromatic color, tipped with a hint of metallic sheen, creating a field of mushrooming organic shapes which capture and reflect light to provide warm elegance to any space”. Take a look and see if you agree!
We are also expecting new collections from Thibaut any day now. Heritage is a sophisticated collection with an elegant spin on traditional, and was inspired by documents with European influence. The fabrics and wallcoverings in this collection celebrate highlights of past eras and timeless style, and have been designed in a soft and rich color palette. And then there will shortly be Texture Resource 7, full of Thibaut’s tough-as-old-boots performance vinyl in some of the most beautiful and painterly patterns ever. We haven’t seen them in person yet, but both collections are generating buzz, and customers are already requesting memo samples for their projects. Let us know if we can send some to you today!
All the best from us at Dunn. We hope you are keeping safe during these uncertain times. We remain open and ready to help with any of your projects, large or small.
