Our Color Consultant Karen Scully built this mood board around current color trends, using a bold assortment of patterns. It shows design ideas for multiple spaces, with colorways that just might inspire you to refresh your home. The new Boho Luxe collection from York is one of our favorite new wallpaper books, and it served as her starting point for this inspired design scheme.
The Boho Luxe collection highlights the beauty of nature, and is full of organic shapes and luxurious patterns. Kashmir Dreams is a swirling botanical paisley-patterned wallpaper inspired by the shawls of India’s Kashmir Valley. Featured at the bottom right of the board, this soothing Neutral Blush colorway is accented with metallic touches and discreet swaths of warm peach tones. The size and distribution of the pattern make it suitable for spaces large and small. Paper and Thread Weave, a simple natural weave tucked away within this vibrant collection, works well with Kashmir Dreams, grounds the board and adds structure (top left). Created with natural paper and ramie cotton fibers, the colorway featured here is a sweet yet earthy Oatmeal Cream that would suit nearly any color palette.
Karen then looked to another York collection for a stronger pattern: Adirondack Damask from Damask Resource. Damasks are a beautiful standard in classic interior design, seen in wallpapers and fabrics alike. In this updated version, the sugar maple leaf is a lodge-inspired vintage symbol at the heart of the pattern’s ornate scrolls. Here at the top right, the earthenware-inspired Clay with Beige colorway complements the subtleties in Kashmir Dreams.
The standout on this mood board, from Greenhouse Fabrics, is a stunning play on zebra stripes that beautifully complements the wallpapers selected and adds some boldness to the grouping. The textured jacquard brings definition, and would easily add an accent to a bright room. The size of the pattern — neither too large or too small — makes it supremely versatile.
This mood board pairs well with three trendy, refreshing colors: a sedate Vermillion, a bold ocean blue, and Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year October Mist, a cool and inviting sage green.

Anna French’s Antilles line of fabrics is showcased stunningly—featuring Cornwall and Saybrook Check in their Green colorways.
Many of the green patterns from Anna French’s Antilles collection pair perfectly with Ben Moore’s Color of the Year. This image (also featured on the Mood Board above) features an armchair upholstered in Anna French’s Saybrook Check in Green. The wallpaper and drapery are done in a coordinating pattern, Cornwall, in Green and Beige.
Antilles from Anna French, and Boho Luxe are available for viewing at our Design Center, along with many more books from Thibaut, York, Carole Fabrics, Greenhouse Fabrics, and more. And as always, Dunn Hardware is proud to partner with Benjamin Moore to offer quality paints in the best collection of colors around.
